Graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of South Dakota in 2022, Dane embarked on a multifaceted career dedicated to improving healthcare access and patient outcomes. Background and Experience:

Dane's professional journey began with the Air Force in 1981, where he served as a Medic, fostering a passion for healthcare that would shape his career. Over the years, he pursued continuous education, earning his LPN from Bates College in Tacoma, WA, and subsequently excelling as a charge nurse in various healthcare settings, including MultiCare Health Systems and Huron Regional Hospital. Dane's diverse roles, including his time in the Neuro Trauma Intensive Care Unit and psychiatric nursing during the COVID-19 pandemic, underscore his versatile expertise in critical care and patient advocacy.
